Masonic tour of the Historic Alexander Keith's Brewery & visit the Titanic Cemetery
Open to all, we invite you for this unique combination tour in downtown Halifax. Our first stop will be the historic Alexander Keith’s Brewery, founded in 1820 followed by a visit to the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, the final resting place for 121 victims of the RMS Titanic tragedy.

About the Event
Open to all, we invite you for this unique combination tour in downtown Halifax. Our first stop will be the historic Alexander Keith’s Brewery, founded in 1820. We will explore the rich history of one of Canada’s oldest breweries and celebrate the Masonic legacy of Alexander Keith, a distinguished Past Grand Master of Nova Scotia. Learn about Keith’s journey from Scotland to Nova Scotia, his contributions to the brewing industry, the province of Nova Scotia, and Nova Scotia Freemasonry, and discover the Masonic symbols and influences present in the brewery. Enjoy a guided tour through the brewery, witness the traditional brewing process, and savour the distinct flavours of Alexander Keith’s renowned brews in the historic Stags Head pub.
